Bucknalls In Heaven

This is in memory of my paternal grandparents who were very kind to us. They started an artistic streak. My brother Malcolm is State Artist of Texas and my sister Annabel is a respected artist on Hawaii. My grandfather was a silversmith in Birmingham, England, and he met my grandmother when she came came to him as his apprentice. She has shown me me a silver sugar sifter she made herself. She went deaf during her attempt at a creative career and decided to marry him instead. His sisters were also by way of being very independent with careers of their own. He encouraged me in my own gifts, introducing me as a child in Grade School to the works of the Impressionists, Vincent Van Gogh and Charles Dickens. I think it was also due to his influence as well as that of our father that my brothers and sisters and I spent a lot of time in the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. My sister Ann studied at Cambridge and wrote poetry
